Getting started · GuideDownload, sign in and make yourself at home
Download, sign in and make yourself at home
Start with the official NearPados app or the existing Web experience. Available sign-in methods can differ by platform and app version.
- Open Download and choose the App Store for iPhone/iPad, Google Play for Android, or Continue on Web.
- Open NearPados, choose your language when prompted and review the Terms before accepting them.
- Choose the sign-in method shown on your screen. Sign in with Apple is available in the iOS app; Google and email/password flows are available where offered. Complete the provider’s own prompts.
- Finish any profile setup, choose a locality and open Home. On later visits, use the same sign-in method to reach the same account.
You do not need to sign in to this website’s Download or Help pages. Never give your password or one-time code to someone claiming to be support.
Choose your download ↗Discovery · GuideFind local services with Ask NearPados
Find local services with Ask NearPados
Ask in your own words, with a chosen place. For example: “an electrician near me” or “AC repair in my area”. These are illustrative requests, not guaranteed results.
- Open Home / Ask NearPados and check the selected current, saved or manual location.
- Describe the service or business you need. English, Bengali and mixed transliterated requests are supported.
- Review the returned business options, the area and any available distance or trust labels. Refine your request or nearby radius if needed.
- Open a business to inspect its details. Use the contact, enquiry, booking or directions action actually offered by that listing.
AI-powered hyperlocal discovery helps interpret your request. It does not guarantee availability, a business’s credentials or a completed service. If no local option is available, try another nearby area or a more specific request.
Open Ask NearPados ↗Discovery · GuideExplore businesses, services, outlets and nearby offers
Explore businesses, services, outlets and nearby offers
Browse local business information and available offers without confusing a discovered public listing with a verified business.
- Open business discovery from the app and choose the location you want to search.
- Browse relevant businesses or search for a service. Adjust the radius if a nearby area would also work for you.
- Open a listing to check its name, address, services and available actions. Look for public/unclaimed, claimed or verification information where displayed.
- For an offer, read its dates, outlet, eligibility and terms before contacting or visiting the business. Check the destination before opening directions.
Public/unclaimed information is not a claim of verification. Offers can expire, and local availability varies. Directions open an available maps destination; NearPados does not promise built-in turn-by-turn navigation.
Browse local businesses ↗Discovery · GuideUnderstand NearbyNow and its freshness labels
Understand NearbyNow and its freshness labels
NearbyNow is a local feed of available updates, moments, offers and community activity. It is not a promise that every neighbourhood has live content.
- Open Nearby Now from the menu or its Home entry when shown.
- On Web, enter City and Locality and choose Refresh Nearby Now. On mobile, check the location controls shown on that screen.
- Read each item’s type and freshness label, such as Now, Today or Recent. These describe the update’s recency, not continuous live surveillance.
- Open an item’s available action to see its story, business, Pujo listing or community context.
If the feed is empty, check the area, refresh, or explore businesses and Community. Available content, visibility rules and feature availability affect results.
Open NearbyNow ↗Community & creators · GuideCapture and publish with LocalLens on mobile
Capture and publish with LocalLens on mobile
LocalLens helps you share an actual local moment. Suggested captions and categories are drafts based on context; they are not verified descriptions of what a camera sees.
- Open Local Lens in the mobile app, or use its entry from Nearby Now where available. Check your selected location.
- Choose PHOTO, VIDEO or UPDATE. For media, use Camera or Library and grant only the permission you need.
- Read Suggested context, then edit Category and Caption / update. Confirm the place and every fact; remove anything uncertain or private.
- Choose Confirm & publish. After confirmation, Open Nearby Now to explore available updates. Public visibility and moderation rules apply.
Publishing controls depend on the current mobile version and feature availability. Web provides the NearbyNow feed and creator pages; the LocalLens capture flow is mobile. Share only content you have permission to publish.
Get the mobile app ↗Bengal Heritage & Pujo · GuidePlan a Pujo visit with maps and published schedules
Plan a Pujo visit with maps and published schedules
Use the Bengal Heritage experience for Durga Puja pandal maps and schedules. The directory includes listed venues; it is not a complete inventory of every pandal.
- Open Pujo and Choose your area: Use current location, Use saved location, or enter City and Locality and choose Choose location.
- Select a radius to search nearby listings. Browse the directory if you want to explore listed venues beyond the current view.
- Open a pandal for its published details, map and Day schedule where available. Distinguish confirmed venue information from general festival guidance.
- Check Crowd Pulse if available, then use Directions to open the maps destination. Confirm the venue and follow local traffic guidance.
Timings, coverage and traffic conditions can change. Verify important rituals or access arrangements with organisers. An empty radius search does not mean there are no celebrations in that area.
Explore Pujo maps ↗Bengal Heritage & Pujo · GuideRead Crowd Pulse without mistaking it for a headcount
Read Crowd Pulse without mistaking it for a headcount
NearPados Crowd Pulse estimates crowd pressure around supported Pujo venues using available traffic context, recent reports and privacy-protected local activity.
- Open Crowd Pulse from Pujo, choose your area and radius, and search the map.
- For a venue with an estimate, read the pressure level and any trend together with the last-updated time and confidence.
- Treat an old or low-confidence update cautiously. Refresh or check other local information before making a plan.
- If Data unavailable is shown, treat conditions as unknown. Where a venue offers visitor reporting, report only what you actually observe.
Crowd Pulse is not an exact live crowd count or a safety guarantee. Coverage depends on available signals and freshness. It does not replace directions from organisers, police or emergency services.
Open Crowd Pulse ↗Community & creators · GuideFind nearby people, start a chat, report or block
Find nearby people, start a chat, report or block
Community brings local discussions and eligible nearby people together. Being in the same area does not automatically make a person visible or contactable.
- Open Community and confirm your location and radius. Check your profile visibility if you want to appear to eligible nearby members.
- Open a thread to read and reply, or choose an eligible person and Start Chat where offered. Nearby map positions are approximate.
- Use Report on an inappropriate discussion or available content menu, choose the reason and submit useful context without sharing private information.
- Use Block in the relevant person or conversation controls to stop unwanted interactions. Contact support for problems the available controls do not resolve.
Private, blocked, deleted or otherwise ineligible accounts will not simply appear as nearby contacts. If no people are shown, check locality and visibility rather than assuming the map lists every device.
Open Community ↗Community & creators · GuideExplore stories, reels and creator tools
Explore stories, reels and creator tools
Discover published local content or share from the creator tools available to your account.
- Open local stories to browse content that has been made public.
- Open a story for its context and available interaction or share actions.
- To publish, sign in and open the creator area. Complete any required creator setup and provide accurate details for your own media.
- Review what you are publishing and its visibility. Use reporting or support if content violates Community Guidelines.
Creator access, media formats and publication visibility can differ by platform and account. Never publish another person’s private location or personal information without permission.
Explore published stories ↗Business owners · GuideAdd a shop, service or independent business
Add a shop, service or independent business
A photo can help you begin, but you stay in control of the final listing. This also works for independent tradespeople who do not have a shopfront.
- Sign in and open Add Your Business. Choose the photo/description route where available, or use manual entry.
- Provide a relevant business photo or describe your work. Let the app prepare suggestions; fill any details that could not be extracted.
- Review Business name, Category, Phone, City, Locality, Address, Opening hours and Description. Confirm the business location and resolve any possible duplicate.
- Choose Confirm & Add Business, then open Your Business Dashboard to manage services, photos and business information.
Only add or manage a business you are authorised to represent. AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. A newly added business is not automatically marked verified.
Add Your Business ↗Business owners · GuideManage outlets and publish a local offer
Manage outlets and publish a local offer
Choose the right business and outlet so people see relevant details and terms for the place they can actually visit.
- Open Your Business Dashboard and select the business you own or are authorised to manage.
- Open outlet management to maintain each location’s address and details. Confirm the outlet before creating an offer.
- In offer management, provide the offer, locality/radius, start and end dates, image and terms as requested. Review optional price fields only if relevant.
- Publish through the available controls. Review status and available analytics; keep expired or inaccurate details up to date.
An offer does not guarantee delivery to every nearby user. Active dates, location eligibility, notification preferences, blocks and frequency limits apply. Some campaign controls are operated by Admin.
Open offer management ↗Account & privacy · GuideChoose current, saved or manual location and radius
Choose current, saved or manual location and radius
Current device GPS, saved profile location and a manually chosen place are different sources. Check the source before relying on nearby results.
- On a location-enabled screen, choose Use current location when you want your device’s position. Respond to the browser or operating system permission prompt.
- For your saved area, choose Use saved location. To explore elsewhere, use Choose location and the city/locality fields available on that screen.
- Select an appropriate radius. Recheck the locality label when switching screens or accounts; the exact controls can vary by screen.
- If permission is denied, use a saved or manual area. To re-enable device location, open NearPados permissions in device settings or your browser’s site settings and try again.
GPS precision depends on the device and permission you grant. A saved locality is not a live GPS fix. Nearby People eligibility and profile visibility are separate from allowing location access.
Open location-enabled Community ↗Account & privacy · GuideManage privacy, sessions and account deletion
Manage privacy, sessions and account deletion
Your profile settings and deletion controls help you decide how to participate. Read the confirmation carefully before deleting an account.
- Open your menu or Profile / account area. Edit your profile and review the available visibility and privacy controls.
- Use logout when leaving a shared device. Sign in with your own method when changing accounts; do not share sessions or credentials.
- To delete, use Menu → Legal → Delete Account where shown, or the direct Account deletion link. On Web it opens the Delete tab in Profile after sign-in.
- Read the deletion explanation, type the required confirmation and complete reauthentication if requested. Check the resulting confirmation or return to sign-in.
Confirmed deletion revokes sessions, hides/anonymises the profile and detaches active login identities; Apple authorisation is revoked where applicable. Deletion and legally required retention are separate: do not expect immediate hard deletion of every record. A later fresh signup does not restore the old account or its history.
Open account deletion ↗Safety & support · GuideUse Emergency Hub responsibly
Use Emergency Hub responsibly
Emergency Hub provides local information and coordination tools. It is not an emergency dispatch service.
- For immediate danger or a medical emergency, contact the appropriate official emergency service first.
- Open Emergency Hub for available local information and guidance. Confirm the relevant locality.
- If using a community alert or coordination action, provide accurate details and avoid exposing sensitive personal information.
- Follow official instructions. Use Report or support to flag misuse or incorrect information.
Never rely on a community response or push notification as guaranteed emergency assistance. Conditions, notification delivery and local information availability vary.
Open Emergency Hub ↗Getting started · GuideA store link or QR code will not open
A store link or QR code will not open
The permanent QR destination is https://nearpados.com/download. It always gives you an explicit store or Web choice.
- Use your phone’s camera to scan the code, or type nearpados.com/download into your browser.
- Choose Download on the App Store for iPhone/iPad or Get it on Google Play for Android.
- Inside WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, use the browser menu to open in Safari or Chrome if the store cannot open.
- Check device compatibility and availability on the official store listing. You can also choose Continue on Web.
Do not download an APK or share your Apple/Google password with an unknown sender. The QR and store buttons on this website do not require your NearPados password.

Get product help or contact support
The Help centre explains how to use NearPados. Ask NearPados in the app is the separate place to search for local businesses and services.
- Search these guides or published help articles using a feature name or a short description of the problem.
- Open NearPados Support for product guidance and the available support-ticket flow.
- Describe what happened, your device/platform and the screen involved. Include an error message if useful, but never a password or one-time code.
- For formal complaints, use the Grievance / Support page. You can also email support@nearpados.com.
For a life-threatening situation, use official emergency services rather than a product support ticket.
