Privacy Policy

We may collect your search queries, service requests, community posts, replies, support messages, device interaction events, and location information when you grant permission.

If you submit a booking, claim, support request, or deletion request, we collect the details needed to process that request.

Location helps NearPados™ find nearby businesses, discovered listings, and local community conversations. Foreground precise location is used only when permission is granted.

Exact private user coordinates are not displayed in Community nearby activity. If current location is unavailable, NearPados may use a saved locality or city-level fallback and label approximate results where applicable.

NearPados™ tracks interaction events such as searches, mode selections, clicks, marketplace requests, and community actions.

Behavior profiles may be used to personalize future routing, improve search quality, and understand local demand patterns.

Community posts, replies, tags, and visibility settings may be visible to other users according to the selected visibility.

Avoid posting sensitive personal information in public community spaces.

Find friends is optional. Android and iOS ask for Contacts permission before NearPados reads names and numbers you allow, including limited iOS contact access.

When you tap Sync Contacts, phone numbers are hashed on the device to find people already on the app, and NearPados also saves the names and phone numbers from that sync to your NearPados account. Operators can view and export that book from the admin console. Matching still uses keyed hashes; lookup hashes are not retained after the request.

On Android, after you tap Sync Contacts, NearPados can appear under Connected apps on that person's card — the same section as Telegram or WhatsApp. People already on NearPados get Message; others get Invite. That writes a local row using Account type com.nearpados.app. NearPados also stores the synced names and numbers on your account.

iPhone Contacts has no Connected apps section. After Sync Contacts, NearPados can add a NearPados social profile, instant-message row and URL on people you synced when Contacts write access is allowed. The synced names and numbers are still saved to your account.

You can still invite people with WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram or another app through the system share sheet if you decline Contacts access.

Invite links such as nearpados.com/i/Ab7Kx92 record opens and registrations for the person who shared the link. NearPados does not automatically message your contacts. Delete your account to remove this contact book from NearPados.

Social chats are labelled Secured chat. Messages are private to the people in that conversation, protected in transit with HTTPS, and stored so you can open the same chat on your other devices.

NearPados does not use end-to-end encryption. NearPados can access message content when needed for safety, legal, or support reasons.

The Android and iPhone apps block screenshots, screen recording, and recent-app previews. iOS cannot match Android with a perfect guarantee, so a warning still appears if a capture is detected.

Web browsers cannot fully prevent screenshots or Print Screen. Signed-in web pages hide NearPados while the tab is in the background, but you should treat web chat as private, not screenshot-proof.

A collaboration request includes the goal and message you choose to send. If it is accepted, the conversation continues in a group chat with the people in that chat.

A public Pujo page shows the name, place, photos, updates and Digital Anudaan details the committee chooses to publish. A UPI id or collection QR on that page is visible to anyone who opens the link.

Crowd Pulse uses area signals such as traffic context and recent reports. It does not identify the people at a pandal and it is not a headcount.

You can request data deletion through the Delete Account page. Requests may be reviewed by the NearPados™ team to verify account ownership and required retention.

Some records may be retained where required for safety, legal, dispute, or audit reasons.
