What is NearPados?

NearPados (exact spelling: NearPados) is an India hyperlocal neighbourhood platform by Veda Intelligence. It brings local services, nearby businesses, community updates and practical next steps into one place for residents, visitors and shop owners.

NearPados is not a classroom, lesson, or school-software product — and it is not Nearpod. It is built for neighbourhood life in India: finding help nearby, discovering local businesses, and staying connected to the places you live and visit.

Entity first

NearPados.
Neighbourhood platform.
India.

NearPados exists so people can ask for local help, explore businesses around them, follow community updates, and take a useful next step — without jumping between disconnected tools.

The product is created by Veda Intelligence and led by Rudra Veda. Coverage depends on real places and available information; we do not pretend every locality looks the same.

Find something useful.
Right around you.

Meet the people
around you.

Keep the
local spirit alive.

Why NearPados exists

A useful answer.
A local connection.
A clearer next step.

Finding an electrician, discovering a neighbourhood shop or planning a Pujo visit can mean jumping between disconnected places. NearPados is built to bring local discovery, community and practical actions into one experience.

Residents can ask for help, explore businesses and find someone to collaborate with. Visitors can open a Pujo page for photos, updates and Digital Anudaan. Business owners can explain what they offer. Creators and community members can share what makes an area their own.

It is a neighbourhood community app grounded in real places and available information. We aim to make the next step useful without pretending every locality has the same coverage.

The technology, in human terms

Less mystery.
More useful context.

NearPados combines location, what you are looking for and available local information. AI assists specific tasks; it does not make every answer a verified fact.

01 / YOUR PLACE

Location with a choice.

Current, saved and manually selected locations help define your search area. Radius and geographic filtering keep discovery connected to the place you chose.

02 / YOUR INTENT

A request in your words.

Ask NearPados uses location and intent-aware AI to interpret requests and guide local discovery. English, Bengali and mixed transliterated queries are supported, while names and source details stay grounded.

03 / YOUR NEXT STEP

Information you can inspect.

Business details, available actions and community context help you decide. AI-assisted business onboarding creates suggestions to review; LocalLens drafts use local context that you confirm.

And Crowd Pulse?

Crowd Pulse is an area estimate around a pandal, not a count of people. If there is no live reading yet, the page says so.

What we want to get right

Local, with a little more care.

Clarity over claims.

Verified or claimed businesses and public, unclaimed listings are distinct. A new business listing is not automatically verified. Availability and published information can vary.

People, with boundaries.

Profile visibility, approximate nearby locations and Report/Block controls help you manage how you participate. Deleting an account is available through account settings.

Culture, with context.

Bengal Heritage connects Pujo discovery to real localities, published schedules and the community around them. General festival references are not promises about a specific pandal.
