A Decade of Evolution

From AnyProblem.xyz to NearPados | 2016–2026

“An idea born to solve problems. A platform evolving to connect neighbourhoods.”

A founder account. Not a certified history.

The dates and names printed on the poster below come from material the founder supplied for this essay. They are not records this website can independently verify. Where a detail is only a recollection, the page says so. Where NearPados has a public feature today, that description follows the product, not the poster.

The photograph we were given

The image is shown here as it was supplied. It has not been redrawn, and it is not a screenshot of the NearPados app. On a phone the type inside the poster becomes small, so the essay underneath carries the reading. You can open the original file at full size.

Founder-supplied poster titled A Decade of Journey. It shows a designed 2016 to 2026 graphic about AnyProblem.xyz and NearPados, including a photograph of several people. The people are not identified on this page. This is not a product screenshot.
Founder-supplied poster, kept in full so the timeline and the people remain visible. It is a designed graphic. The people in the photograph are not named on this page. Their appearance is not an endorsement of NearPados, not a government partnership, and not a police integration. Words on the poster about government or police enablement are part of that graphic. They are not a description of a current NearPados service. Open the original poster.

2016 — Where it all began

The founder, Rudra Veda, recalls an earlier idea called AnyProblem.xyz, from around 2016. In that recollection the idea was simple: a person could describe a problem, and the product would help them find a way through it. The supplied poster also places that idea with a company name, Anytech Technology.

Public company listings do show a Kolkata firm named AnyTech Technology Private Limited, incorporated in 2016. Those listings describe general software and IT services. They do not document AnyProblem.xyz, a launch guest list, or a line from that firm to NearPados. This essay does not treat the listing as proof of the product story.

So 2016 is told here as the founder’s recollection of where the question started. It is not presented as a verified public launch record.

The years in between

The poster prints a year-by-year product timeline: a 2018 prototype, a 2020 platform, hyperlocal services in 2022, and location intelligence in 2024. Those dates are not confirmed by project records checked for this article. They stay on the poster as the founder’s graphic. They are not repeated below as historical facts.

2017–2022 — The years of exploration

The useful lesson from those years, as the founder describes them, was that a list of problems was not enough. People needed a place, a person they could trust, and a next step that belonged to their own neighbourhood. Exact product milestones for these years are not stated here.

2023–2025 — From problems to context

The work turned toward context: where someone is, what they are trying to do, and which local information is actually available. That is a description of the direction, not a claim that a particular feature shipped in a particular month.

2026 — NearPados, as it works today

NearPados is the neighbourhood platform built by VedaIntelligence™. It is for residents, visitors, and local businesses in India. It is not classroom software, and it is not a promise that every locality has the same coverage.

  • Local discovery for services and businesses, using a location you choose: current, saved, or selected by hand.
  • Community updates and NearbyNow, with freshness that depends on what people have actually shared.
  • A page for each Durga Pujo that is registered on NearPados, with photos, updates, and a share link. Digital Anudaan, when a committee adds it, goes to that committee. NearPados does not hold the money.
  • Crowd Pulse is an area estimate — Low, Moderate, High, Very High, or no live reading. It is not a count of people, and no live reading does not mean a place is empty.
  • Collab Suite lets you find a nearby creator, shop, committee, or group and send a request. A request is not a contract.
  • Emergency Hub offers local information. In immediate danger, contact official emergency services first. The hub does not dispatch police, ambulance, or fire.
  • Ask NearPados can take a local question in plain language, including English and Bengali. It assists discovery. It does not turn every answer into a verified fact.

A fuller description of current features is on Why NearPados, How NearPados works, and About.

What is still being tested

  • A spoken conversation with Veda is still being tested. It is not switched on as a public voice feature, and this essay does not describe it as ready.
  • “Hey Veda” is not available. The app does not listen in the background for a wake phrase, and a closed browser tab cannot do that either.
  • Android Auto and CarPlay are not part of NearPados today.

Beyond 2026 — the next chapter

The direction is still the same one the founder describes: help people solve a local problem, then help a neighbourhood stay connected. The next chapter is about doing that carefully — with clear consent, with room for a locality that does not yet have full coverage, and without borrowing credibility from a photograph.
